A Brief Intro to Editor Nate Pile

Nate Pile

Editor Nate Pile grew up in Healdsburg, California, a small town roughly 60 miles north of San Francisco, and he still lives there today with his wife and two daughters.

While earning his bachelor's degree in Mathematics at U.C. Berkeley, Mr. Pile was lucky enough to meet and begin working for legendary biotech analyst and investor Jim McCamant. It was a life-changing experience that inspired Mr. Pile to eventually launch his own investment newsletter in February 1995... and over the past thirty years, Nate's Notes has quietly become one of the best performing investment newsletters in the country (based on rankings published monthly by HulbertRatings.com).

Along with his near obsession with the stock market, Nate also enjoys cooking, playing his guitar, banjo, and clarinet (never simultaneously!), tending his vegetable and cacti/succulent gardens (and beehives he keeps near them), and taking care of his 120 gallon salt water reef aquarium.
