Monday's Commentary
Obama Moves Back Into The Driver’s Seat 5/12/08
All five of the major indices we use to measure the health of the overall market are continuing to act well, and we are thus growing more optimistic that perhaps the worst of the current downturn may be behind us after all.
Not only are the major indices we track (Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq, BTK Biotech, and SOXX Semiconductor) all acting better these days than they were six weeks ago, many of our recommended stocks also appear to be regaining their footing in an attempt to resume their uptrends.
However, things are likely to remain volatile this week due to options expiration at the end of the week, and thus we encourage subscribers to maintain course with our current game plan until further notice (the May issue will be published this weekend).
